This top leaflet is one of a series of 10 "Walks Around The Borough Of Darlington", which are available for download from Webmaster Alan Hutchinson's website by clicking the walker icon below:  (opens in a new tab)

A link will also be found there to a page on Darlington Borough Council's website which gives access to a large variety of walks even further afield.

(Files may open in a new tab first, then you can use either "File" or <right-click> /"Save as" to download  them to your PC then print them.)

There is a marvellous circular walk from Whinfield into the countryside to the north and west, fully explained with a map and history, in a leaflet  which is available for download.

Click on the thumbnail alongside (right) to download a copy. Once it is downloaded, the file opens with Adobe Reader and it can then be printed double-sided onto A4-landscape paper and folded in half to become a 4-page, A5-size leaflet.

There is a shorter version of the walk which uses Green Lane and the track from Skerningham to Barmpton Lane.

Click on the thumbnail alongside (right) to view, print or download a copy of the "Whinfield Loop" leaflet.
